More people need to know how bad Apple is when it comes to any type of repair of their products. Authorized or third party. If you want to charge an addtional fee for DIY breakage that's understandable but to not offer anything, wtf.. Thanks for getting this across to people!

Well if Tiktok is accurate, and im sure they are, all you have to do is heavily spread toothpaste on the monitor crack and pour juice over it. Then it will magically repair itself.

Apple : It's illegal to fix Apple products elsewhere.

In Brazil we actually have laws about that, it's illegal to release a product without having means/ways to provide support/fix it, the company is subject to fine by the Brazilian equivalent of the FTC and civil lawsuit

I work for a certified Third Party Apple Repair facility. They do this EVERY launch. Right now, we're unable to order any of the 12/12 Pro parts because of this blunder.

This is what i have been saying for years since Apple refused to fix my Mac Book Pro back in college, they told me it was "user abuse" but as someone who takes extreme care of my computers and laptops AND who had someone who worked at apple as a friend i was told there was a manufacturing fault, but it was not being repaired because of "user abuse" (which at the time was covered under warranty anyway) it was WELL within warranty time and i offered to pay repairs but they declined, APPLE IS SUCKY DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS

What's hilarious about this to me is that Linus states like 30 seconds into the video that they wanted to pay apple for repairs, and yet people still accused them of asking for a handout... they clearly didn't even watch the video, they legit just got angry at hearing that someone had a genuine complaint about apple's services and wrote articles about it based on what I can only guess is second-hand information.
